K-Kids - Our Commitment to the Future

the youngest and fastest growing service organization for elementary
students worldwide. Our club members work with children to help them
learn leadership skills, develop strong moral character, and encourage
loyalty to the school, community and nation. K-Kids are generally aged
6 to 12 and provide our club members with a constant reminder of what
is right in our community. Our club is proud to help these kids learn
and live up to the K-Kids pledge:
"As a K-Kid, I promise to
serve my neighborhood and my school; I will show respect toward my
environment; and I will try to make the world a better place in which
to live."
Springfield Kiwanis Club Sponsors Builders Clubs

young people with unique challenges and opportunities. Kiwanians
believe that young people need and want new and exciting challenges. We
also believe that positive efforts and involvement by adults can
channel a childs energy to help in their personal development of a
happy and productive life. Builders Club helps to build strong leaders
for tomorrow...today.
Our Club supports Key Clubs --- Youth Leadership Program
The Springfield Kiwanis Club currently sponsors four Key Clubs. Key
Clubs are designed to teach high school kids about the value of
community service and to focus them on the positives surrounding them.
Key Clubs get kids involved with many community service activities.
Many Key Clubbers go on to leadership positions in the Key Club
organization and assume leadership positions in other organizations and
communities later in life.
