 KIWANIS FAMILY OF SERVICE LINKS

Kiwanis is a group of age related service clubs under the Kiwanis International umbrella. As an international organization it is broken into Regions, and Regions broken into Districts.

 Our Club is part of the Ohio District  of Kiwanis International.  Within the district the adult clubs are broken into divisions of approximately 12 to 15 clubs within a geographic area  Springfield Kiwanis is a member of Division 4

Young college age adults have the opportunity to participate in Circle K Clubs, a collegiate program that promotes community service, leadership development, and fellowship on individual college and university campuses.  The Springfield Kiwanis proudly supports   Wittenberg Circle K  at Wittenberg University in Springfield Ohio

For pre-teens in middle school Kiwanis supports Builders Clubs   while at the elementary level we encourage  K Kids   At the high school level our Service Leadership program are the very active

Kiwanis International Foundation 
The mission of the Kiwanis International Foundation is to financially assist Kiwanis International in serving the children of the world. 
     Most notable action of the foundation was in 1994 with its Worldwide Service Project:  The foundation embarked on its first Worldwide Service Project, partnering with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), World Health Organization (WHO), (US) Centers for Disease Control (CDC), local governments, and salt producers, to work toward the elimination of one of the world’s most prevalent public health problems: iodine deficiency disorders (IDD).
