In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout
the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

| CBZBasketball Tournament | A combination of community service and funding for our service activities. This committee oversee's the coordination of a Holiday basketball tourment in conjunction with the mens and womens teams at Wittenberg University.

| Community Services: Ag & Conservation | This is one of our older community service committees than focuses on communication between our urban centers and our county's agricultural foundation. | Tom Ruetenik |
| Community Services:Elderly Issues | The major focus of the Elderly Issues Committee is to research areas of need for seniors in our community, and make a recommendation to the Kiwanis Board for financial support, volunteer assistance, leadership and guidance, or a combination of those resources. | Donna Frederick |
| Finance & Fund Raising | The general directive of this committee is to assist the Treasurer in planning and overseeing the budgets that are to be submitted to the Board of Directors. The Funding Committee submits recommendations on financial matters and secures funds necessary to meet budget requirements.

| Human & Spiritual Values | This committee encourages the membership to live by the first and second objectives of Kiwanis: 1- to give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than the material values of life; 2-to encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
This committee has traditionally sponsored bell ringing for the Salvation Army for one weekend in December. They also participate in Prayer Week and sponsoring a Clergy Recongnition Day for the Club. | John Clark |

| Young Children Priority One | (YCPO) is a continuing service committee that works, both on local and international levels, to meet needs of children from prenatal through age 5. The focus is on maternal and child health, child care and development, parent education and support, child safety, and pediatric trauma. Local projects have included printing and distribution of “Don’t Shake a Baby” brochures; hospital dolls for doctors and nurses to use when talking with their young patients and for the children to keep. | Denis Driscoll |
| Youth Leadership | Kiwanis plays a special role in developing future generations of leaders. Through this committee members serve as a liaison to nine club-sponsored youth affiliates.
This committee maintains an on-going relationship with each of the youth leadership clubs as well as their faculty advisors.

| Youth Services: CT/KEA | Making a difference in the lives of at risk or disadvantage children in our community — that’s what CT/KEA is all about. Kiwanians volunteer their time in this low income elementary school as mentor, tutors of reading and math, and field trip buddies. They encourage good citizenship through the Kiwanis Terrific Kids Program. Selected children from each class are recognized for their efforts to be good citizens at a special program.
